We had a great time in Blanding, UT. This is the place where Josh grew up. It's amazing how life comes into perspective when you get somewhere that is laid back and you can actually breathe. We had so much fun that we enjoyed an extra week there than planned. The weather was beautiful. It never got above 90 degrees in the day and it was in the 70's at night. Josh and I are thinking of getting some property there, so that when retirement comes around, we have a place to go! The kids love it there too, and it was hard to get them in the van to come home.
Josh did a lot of Cherry Picking in his mom's tree. There was so many cherries we ate them, we bottled 50+ jars, and made cherry jelly. YUMMY! Campbell was the best. She cleaned the cherries for everyone. She sure had a routine down.
At the 4th of July Parade. What a beautiful group of angels!

We had a lot of fun splashing at the lake. Josh, Scott, and Matt even swam to the other side and back. In the mean time, Jaycie and Skye played with the dead Crodads, and Calin and Campbell played with bubbles. Oh, and Mackenzie, she was in the van staying warm.

This is Josh's Dad's Memorial. We spend a few minutes cleaning it up, getting the weeds out, and just reflecting on what a great man he is to us.

Good old southern Utah it is the best especially the small towns. We live in kanab and love it.
It is so great to have blogs so that I can keep up on my friends. Life is such a whirlwind......sometimes there just isn't enough time in a day!
